So much wildlife can be seen from this amazing cottage

From the cottage we have seen a family of 3 otters playing in the pond at the back of the cottage, also hand fed red deer from the side of the cottage with rich tea biscuits, we even had a visit from the pinemartin who also liked rich tea biscuits. The cottage is one the best we have stayed in Scotland it is very clean and has all the facility’s you need and more. We can not wait to come back.

Woodside cottage

Cottage and location 1st class, Can highly recommend and will definitely be returning for a second visit. Cottage was very clean and perfectly equipped. Location and views excellent with plenty of wildlife on the doorstep. We even had a visit from 3 white tailed sea eagles for 2 1/2 hours viewed from the decking. Superb. No negatives at all about this place.

Home from home cottage

The cottage was in a great location for exploring the Ardnarmurchan and Moidart area. The Samalaman beach in Glenuig is well worth a visit. Make sure you visit the community shop in Glenuig which sells Organic food. The cottage was well equipped with amazing views to the rear of the property where red deer were grazing most days. This was the best cottage we have stayed in since visiting Scotland and would recommend this cottage

Lovely cottage..great location

The cottage is just like a home from home with everything you need.It is well situated for exploring the whole area. The drive to our days out were just as enjoyable with the stunning views along the way.The deers that come to the bottom of the decking will take biscuits from you if your lucky (rich tea biscuits and we were lucky😊). The Mingary park restaurant was lovely and the food was delicious. I would recommend a trip on the jJacobite across the Glenfinnan viaduct..the trip is stunning plus if your Harry potter fans like us it's well worth it..also the Staffa boat tours are excellent..we took the trip from Kilchoan to the Ttreshnish isles..we saw a sea eagle, dolphins, Seals and of course the beautiful puffins..Fingals cave was stunning too..we did so much i could go on for ages..After a long day it was so nice to get back to the cottage and have a good night's sleep in the extra comfy beds ready for the next day of exploring.

The best holiday home we have ever rented

The house is spacious, clean, extremely well equipped. The beds were big and comfy and the widescreen tv enabled us to keep up with England's progress in the world cup. The wildlife was great - no red squirrels, but the red deer came to visit every day, unfazed by us sitting out on the gorgeous wooden balcony. We spent a whole day fruitlessy searching the shore line and nature hides for otter, only to find one swimming in the pond in plain view of the house on our return. We had a super time. Thank you

Outstanding!!!

"I'd like to say this place is the absolute pits and advise against booking but that's only because l really don't want to share this really special holiday home in a wonderful corner of the world with anyone else. A beautifully well equipped and comfortable cottage with enough kitchen equipment to cater for the Army (awesome). A wonderfully informative guest info pack giving details of local walks was great. Beds comfy and overall a lovely home-from-home. While here we gave up counting red deer and even had them come right up to the boundary of the cottage one morning. The lighthouse at Ardnamurchan Point is a must-do and we took a day-long boat trip with Staffa Tours which did not disappoint - Fingals Cave was breathtaking and the up close and personal encounter with puffins was out if this world - topped only by sight of a white tailed sea eagle on our way back to Kilchoan. This cottage is one of the best we have ever stayed in and great credit goes to Tony and Susan for thinking of everything - the "little extras" were very welcome. A very definite 10/10 and a certain return.

AMAZING!!

Our stay at Woodside was AMAZING! everything you need is there for you in the beautiful well equipped cottage. It's situated away from busy towns just as we wanted but there are small shops near by if you need supplies.surrounded by trees it's a brilliant place to relax away from hustle & bustle! We could see the deers in the field at the bottom of the garden then on the last day one came to the fence and we were able to hand feed her BRILLIANT It has been just what we all needed. Thanks to Tony for all his help & information he's really helpful! Fantastic holiday thank you.
