Magical Experience

Fantastic house in one of the best locations in Scotland. Arrived for a weeks stay for our 10 year anniversary. Was greeted with a card and a bottle of bubbly in the fridge! (Thank you so much) This is all you need for a relaxing week away, whether its Hiking, Trips to the beach or just taking in nature at its finest! Within 10 mins of arriving we were blown away as an eagle swooped down 50 feet from us taking its prey. Visited on a daily basis by Brian the Bambi and his beer buddy Bruce (2 beautiful stags) and a Pine Martin with a great love of peanut butter and Eggs! The house is very well equipped for eating in and comfy beds to sleep in after a long day out exploring the area. I could go on for ages about the things to do in the area (even swam with a friendly seal at Sanna) but will just say Thank you Tony - Will definitely return!

Fabulous Time

Had a fabulous time at a very well equipped cottage. Wildlife visiting the cottage was superb, badgers, deer and various birds. The local area also delivered with golden eagle,sea eagle and otter all in same day. Shop in village very well stocked and cafe/chippy excellent.

Great holiday cottage

We stayed at Woodside in May 2019. It’s a lovely comfortable, clean and very well equipped cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage is centrally located for visiting the Ardnamurchan peninsula and Moidart. There was lots of information provided about local attractions, wildlife, walks etc, and we enjoyed trips out to Ardnamurchan point, Morvern, and a cruise down Loch Shiel from Glenfinnan. We watched otters, eagles and other wildlife in the area, and had red deer visiting the stream just outside the garden. We’d thoroughly recommend the cottage and happily visit again in future.

A comfortable cottage in a wonderful location

Woodside is a lovely place to base a tour of the wildlife rich ardnamurchan area. The views are ever changing and there is a variety of places to eat out within a short drive. Walks ranging from a stroll to demanding are close at hand. Families should prepare for challenging discussions with their children reconciling the hand feeding of rich tea biscuits to deer appearing at the garden fence, to consuming excellent venison at the restaurant a short walk away! Fortunately, the kitchen at Woodside is so well equipped, these lively debates can be minimised. NB. Formulating jokes about Otter burgers and Pine Marten fritters does not help.
