ON THE WATER

ARDNAMURCHAN CHARTERS motor boat hire and Wildlife boat cruises along Loch Sunart and to the Treshnish Isles and Coll. 

LOCH SHIEL BOAT TRIPS from short to full day trips. Spot eagles, divers, hen harriers and red deer while learning the history and geology.

STAFFA TOURS WILDLIFE BOAT CRUISES boat trips to Staffa and the Treshnish Isles depart daily at 10.15am from Kilchoan. Ideal in season for seeing nesting puffins.

SEA KAYAK ARISAIG caters for those both with and without experience seeking out white sandy beaches, rocky headlands and sheltered lochs and enjoying wildlife sightings.

ON LAND

WILD HIGHLAND TOURS 4x4 wildlife tour which include photo stalking tours and night tours seeking sightings of the Scottish Wild Cat.

WILD WEST SAFARIS offer a range of wildlife safaris including night safaris, big five safaris, red deer rut safaris and bespoke trips. Full day, evening and half-day safaris available.

The local area is popular with cyclists and offers a range of cycling opportunities, from gentle short pleasure rides to long distance marathons and highly technical mountain rides. There are eleven off-road cycle routes in the Sunart Oakwoods, ranging in length from 3km to 64 km. CYCLE HIRE is available from Sunart Cycles in Strontian who offer free drop off and pick up.
