The local herd of red deer are often visible from the rear decking area and a heron often fishes in the pool. Red squirrels live in the woods at the front of the cottage and a local pine marten also pops in at Woodside at times on his rounds.  Venturing out a number of wildlife trips and boat cruises operate in the local area, details of these are provided at Woodside and in our guest pre-arrival information pack.
