What a lovely week we have had. We have seen three otters in the pond and stream at the back of the cottage. Also the pine marten likes rich tea biscuits so did 2 of the red deer. The cottage is so well equipped.

We loved our stay, cottage and location first class. Scenery stunning and very lucky to have three white tailed eagles sat perched on the rocks for 2 hours outside the cottage on our first day. Also managed to see golden eagles, red squirrels, seals, otter, many deer and even a glimpse of the pine marten on the decking one evening.

We had a lovely week despite the turbulent weather. It was a joy to wake up to see the view and the red deer. We have been fortunate to see most wildlife except the red squirrel. The deer behind (well some) do indeed like rich tea biscuits. The cottage is extremely well equipped, appointed and warm.

Enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Cottage was homely and spacious which was ideal. We mad e good use of the recipe books. Managed to see otter from Salen Jetty and rear deer to the rear of the cottage. Have to say this is the best holiday cottage we’ve stayed in compared to the many we have stayed at (visiting Scotland twice a year since 2008!)

Thank you so much for the perfect holiday cottage. We’ve seen lots of wildlife from the cottage. Unfortunately, we didn’t see the pine marten but we did on our travels. 1 week isn’t long enough!

What a beautiful stay we have had in this magnificently equipped, comfy and superbly located home. We’ve loved the daily visit from red deer, totally unfazed by our proximity, a couple of field mice and even otters in the pond. What a great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Woodside, which is a very homely and comfortable place in a great location. It was our first visit to the Ardnamurchan peninsula and the whole area just blew us away. Brilliant!
